The Beacom Consulting Group (BCG) was created to give students interested in management consulting a chance to experience it first-hand.
Each semester, BCG selects a number of requests from local businesses, regional non-profit organizations, and student organizations to perform various consulting tasks. Contributing to the positive impact that the Beacom School of Business has on the community, BCG delivers valuable strategic advice to these groups pro-bono.
Believing in quality over quantity, BCG maintains a smaller membership to ensure that each member is actively engaged and receiving the full benefits of the program. Entry into the organization is a two-step process. First, a completed application with attached resume must be submitted. If the application and resume meet the prerequisites, then the applicant will be scheduled for a formal interview. Once the interview process has concluded, the existing members vote on membership acceptance. A majority is required for the applicant to be accepted into BCG.
